Pattabhi Jois<\/a> a popularis\u00e9 cette m\u00e9thode \u00e0 Mysore. Inspir\u00e9 par les enseignements de son ma\u00eetre de yoga&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tirumalai_Krishnamacharya\">T. Krishnamacharya<\/a>, il a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un syst\u00e8me qui int\u00e8gre des techniques de respiration (ujjayi), des drishti (points de concentration visuelle) et des bandhas (concentrations \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques) pour intensifier la pratique et augmenter la prise de conscience. L&rsquo;Ashtanga Yoga se compose de six s\u00e9ries de postures chacune ayant ses propres d\u00e9fis et b\u00e9n\u00e9fices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette m\u00e9thode est r\u00e9put\u00e9e pour ses effets purifiants sur le corps et l&rsquo;esprit.
